UP Chapter ASI FROM THE DESK OF PRESIDENT
Dr. Rama Kant Dear seniors of profession, my colleague friends and my beloved juniors, We at UPASI wish you all a very happy, peaceful, promising, satisfying and useful New Year. I feel honoured to congratulate all of you but specially our creative, dynamic and knowledgeable secretary Dr. S.K. Mishra for UP Chapter being awarded the coveted BEST CHAPTER OF ASI AWARD consecutively for last two years. Let us at outset thank you all for electing me as President and also as Governing Council member of ASI. Let us believe in ourselves that we will keep focussed attention at the best knowledge we can acquire incessantly, love to listen than to react, have more sympathy and understanding with less fortunate and distribute whatever we wish to receive from the almighty GOD. Three things were common amongst those who created histories viz. reading good books, meeting stars of their profession and incessant desire for learning. The winners recognize their strengths and focus on them while losers recognize their weaknesses and focus on them. I shall herald and bank on all of you for few great helps. Please increase our membership of ASI and thus our chapter too, please always involve your chapter in all academic and social activities. Not only we will be honoured, you will also gain by performing under banner of UP Chapter. Please do send all news items of significant achievements, medico social activities performed with photographs and also update all your personal records on the website. Dear friends, “Never mind if your contribution is only a mite, your help only a little. Blades of grass united into a rope will hold in confinement the maddest of elephants.” We have taken an oath and resolved that we will make bridges of relationships between all of us and we wish to join you in all your activities. Please keep informing us and also take fullest advantage of the expertise available in your state. Train yourself with best masters. We are with you. Please keep writing to us. I shall appreciate if you could be more visible and plunge into sms, email and telephonic communications with at least some members every week. Hoping to see you all on peaks of your success, family happiness and best of your expertise offered to our patients.
